Meadow

During the summer our wild flowers bring vibrant colour to the meadow. These flowers not only look beautiful but they also support bees, butterflies and many other pollinators. To name a few we have oxeye daisies, poppies, cornflowers, red campions, corn marigolds, chamomile, yarrow, meadow buttercups, stitchwort, cowslips, scabious, vetch, selfheal and if you are lucky enough to spot one, a wild bee orchid!

The surrounding banks, walks, ditches are full of hedge parsley, meadowsweet, dead nettle, white nettle, mayweed, red clover, cow parsley, dog rose in the spring and summer. All beautiful.

We have a great shack in the meadow with a long dining table and plenty of chairs and fairy lights. Its a great place to have a BBQ on a summer evening and to sit back and watch the great Suffolk sky fill with night stars.

The Meadow also provides a great space for tractor riding, ball kicking and tag or anything else your imagination offers.
